Green Hills stands with the women who hold our community together: the grandmothers, the single mothers and the girls growing up beside them.

Three groups of women who are too often left to manage alone.
Grandmothers who spent their lives caring for others deserve care in return: food from our harvest, company, and a real place in community life.
Mothers raising children on their own. We help them grow food and earn from it, so their families have more than one way to get by.
Girls growing up in our community. We help them stay in school and learn skills that keep their choices open.
At the heart of it is our Women's Farming Collective: mothers trained on the farm and given seeds and land to grow on. To confirm: 20 mothers so far?
Every woman in the collective gets her own plot and seeds to start, so she can grow food for her household.
Hands-on training in the field, from planting to harvest, alongside the farm team.
Help selling what they grow, so the harvest turns into money they control.
Mothers and grandmothers from our community, and the friendships they make with visitors from abroad.
