School fees, a uniform, exercise books and pencils, so every child starts term ready to learn.
The community farm gives the children everything around the essentials: meals from our fields, the books they need for each new term, and soon a community we are building together. Sponsorship makes that last.

These are some of the children in the Green hills community. Everything the farm grows, sells or builds comes back to them.

Three things every child in the program can count on.

One meal a day at the farm.

Medical care for illness or injury, including transport to hospital, medicine and dressings.

In June a fungus hit our maize. Friends in Mexico told us it was huitlacoche, a delicacy. We started growing it on purpose, and in September the harvest paid for books, pens and materials for the children in our care.
Sponsors build on what the farm already gives, so the program doesn't depend on one good season.
